Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management (AIH&TM) - ITDC, India in association with ARK SMC have started a Cruise hospitality course for 4 weeks for Hotel management students/professionals in Goa, since May 2008.

Duration: 4 weeks

Courses: Four Batches -12 July 2011, 29 Aug 2011, 26th Sept 2011, 31Oct 2011.

Course Details:
 ~Familiarisation of marine/cruise life, Theory, Practical,    Demonstrations, Drill.
 ~On Job training.
 ~Field visit to North Goa and South Goa
 ~Survival Drill in swimming pool is also organised.

Hostel: Hostel accommodation with meals is provided in Goa at a rate of Rs.240/- per day. (Rs. 7200/- for the course)

Course Eligibility: A candidate applying should have a Certificate/Degree (3-4 years)/Diploma (1-2 years) in Hotel Management. Age limit 21-35 years. Candidate should have
good personality and aptitude for marine industry.

Course Fee: Tution fee:. Rs. 23,270/-
ITDC Facilitation Fee: Rs. 5,000/-
Service Tax: Rs. 3,495/-
Total: Rs. 31,765/-
Draft is required to be made in favour of - MPDC, ITDC

A draft of Rs. 14535/- (includes Rs. 7,200/- for accomodation & meals) is required to be paid by demand draft to ARK SHIPPING & MANAGEMENT COMPANY on joining at Goa (Fee also includes stationary, transport, uniform)

Course strength: At least 8-10 courses in a year will be conducted, with course strength of 20-30 at Goa.

Certificate: AIH&TM, ITDC (Govt. of India Undertaking) shall issue a certificate to successful candidates on completion of the course.
